You still get an answer: the formats most companies use, ranked. The page says so plainly.

How do you handle accents and double surnames?

José becomes jose and Søren becomes soren. Hyphens stay, and particles like van der join the surname, as most mail systems do.

From a name to an address in three steps

From addresses people publish themselves, we work out how each company builds them: jane.doe, jdoe, jane and a dozen other formats.
